Patient Resources

We believe your comfort starts long before you sit in the chair. That’s why we’ve gathered all the information, forms, and resources you’ll need in one place.

Your First Visit

Great care starts with a conversation. Whether you’re here for a fresh start or a second opinion, your first visit is thoughtful, unhurried, and tailored to you. We listen, get to know your goals, and offer the same care and presence we give long-time patients—so you leave feeling heard, informed, and confident about next steps.

Initial Appointment

We reserve about 90 minutes for new patients. Before you arrive, Laurie or Shirin will send a secure link so you can complete your medical and dental history online, request permission to retrieve past records and X-rays, and collect your insurance details to help us guide coverage.

Your visit begins in a private consultation room to talk through your goals and health history, then continues with a comprehensive clinical assessment: digital X-rays, intraoral photos, a full digital wellness scan, and a complete exam of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw joint, smile aesthetics, airway, and an oral cancer screening. Most patients complete their exam and records in one visit; when cases are more involved, we’ll schedule a follow-up so everything remains thoughtful and unhurried.

Treatment Plan

After we review your records and complete your exam, we’ll walk you through our findings in plain language—showing photos and X-rays on screen—and outline options with clear pros, cons, timelines, and fee estimates (including guidance on insurance benefits). We’ll prioritize what matters most to you, map out a sensible sequence, and leave time for all your questions. If your needs are more complex, we may recommend a follow-up to gather additional records and ensure every decision is well considered.
